Greycells, in collaboration with NORLHA, organized a lunch-time presentation of documentaries about assisting the poorest and the most vulnerable: women in the Himalayas. Ms Tshering Yodin Sherpa, Senior Gender Officer at the Norlha Office in Kathmandu, Nepal, made a presentation on “Experiences, Challenges and Economic role of women in the Himalayas”.
A lively debate followed Mrs. Yodin’s presentation. Greycells edited a film for the occasion. Since then, NORLHA has moved to Geneva, changed its name to “Centre for Women in the Himalayas (CWH)” and adjusted its modus-operandi considering new financing alternatives. Greycells was instrumental in obtaining a slot for presentation of the CWH at the Rotary Geneva International, aimed at getting them known and exploring possible additional financing alternatives.
