On 24 October 2015, an Open-day celebration of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations was organized by the UNOG, the city of Geneva, the Geneva Canton and the Swiss Federal authorities. Greycells was an active participant not only in the preparation of this event but also on the anniversary day itself. Greycells had a stand well situated in the Palais des Nations showing what the association is and does. On that occasion Greycells participated in a rally, organized by Fondation Eduki, for pupils and students testing their knowledge of International organizations. A very large number of youngsters, often accompanied by their parents, visited our stand for that purpose, acquainting themselves, at the same time, with Greycells. More than 18.000 people visited the Palais des Nations on that Saturday. Several Greycells members were video-interviewed at the UN by pupils and students on different issues related to their experience, such as humanitarian work, human rights, working conditions, trade and development as well as environment.
