Following a request by the Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the United Nations, and the kind intervention of our member, Ambassador Bertrand Louis, Greycells was requested to assist the Permanent Mission of the Cooperative Republic Guyana, and later the permanent Mission of Vanuatu.
A meeting was held with J.R. Deep Ford, PhD, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana to the United Nations Office and International Organizations Geneva. After his priorities were assessed, a further session was organized with his staff to introduce and explain the documents prepared by Greycells and intended for mission staff. A detailed presentation was made of Greycells’ “Filing Plan”, as well as our “What should a Permanent Mission official know about the ILO and UNCTAD”.
A working lunch took place with Mr. Noah Patrick Kouback, Charge d'Affaires of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Vanuatu and Mrs. Danielle Werthmüller, Counsellor, Chief, Section of Privileges and Immunities, of the Permanent Mission of Switzerland. Priorities and time schedule were identified.
A second meeting took place with Mr. Kouback to address identified priorities. He was joined by Mr Barrett Salato, Minister Counsellor & Chargé d’affaires of the Permanent Mission of Solomon Islands. Greycells provided guidance and shared relevant reference information. A kind communication of acknowledgement was sent to Greycells for the advice provided and keeping the door open for further assistance.
