Honest, courageous, and moving testimony of Mrs. Adiba Qasim who shared her vision as a woman, a fighter, a journalist and an investigator on the genocide and crimes against humanity in Iraq. Mrs. Adiba Qasim is native from the Sinjar District in Northern Iraq.
As a survivor Yasidi herself, for the past six years she has been advocating on the Yazidi genocide and giving voice to the stories of the women and children who had survived the ISIS massacre.
Additionally, Mrs. Qasim has been working on cases of child soldiers who had been brainwashed and recruited by ISIS after August 2014. Currently she is a Young Leader in foreign and security policy at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) and a student in international relations at the University of Geneva.
